Thank You To All!
The SouthWest Ninety Niners User Group would like to thank all who helped make the Fest West '98 a success. They include:
- Terrie Masters who had the idea of a Fest West in Lubbock about 4 years ago

- Zachary Douglas who did the initial legwork in locating a contact person at TI
- Texas Instruments and Rodney Cates and Gabriel Flores

- The Lubbock Convention and Tourism Bureau

- The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Ray Westbrook
- All the fine citizens of Lubbock, Texas who made us all feel right at home in their city
- Tom Wills , Mike Doane , Ed McCullough, Rod Stallard , and Al Armstrong of the SouthWest Ninety Niners who were willing to "put their money where their mouth is" and spend extra time in Lubbock getting Fest West set up and dealing with the powers to be in putting together this event.
- The SouthWest Ninety Niners User Group Membership who never doubted that Fest West '98 - Lubbock could be done and backed unwaveringly their officers in putting together this historic event.
- The vendors and individuals who provided either free or at a discount the items used in the raffle.
A special Thank You to Gary Cox who did the fine job of being the "Official Photographer" at the TI Experience. With his pictures, we now have a pictorial record of what happened at Texas Instruments, and to Vonn Malcuit who recorded the morning event on his camcorder. As of this writing, Vonn is editing the tape to make it more presentable. When the tape is completed, an announcement will be made as to where to order the tape and the cost.
