Timeline 99 -- 2004

JAN 2004: The TI99'ers Hall of Fame gets well underway by the creation of a website (http://www.ti99hof.org), a webmail and forum for the TI99'ers Hall of Fame Board of Governors. The Web Site will be maintained by Tom Wills as Webmaster and Ron Rueter as Assistant Webmaster.

  • The Jim Peterson Achievement Awards for 2000 go to:
 
TI-99/4A COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Don O'Neil - For providing the TI community with the ftp.whtech.com site.
 
TI-99/4A SOFTWARE:
Wolfgang Bertsch - For authoring CD-COMMANDER.
 
TI-99/4A HARDWARE:
Thierry Nouspikel - For designing the USB board for the TI-99/4A.
 
MYARC, "GENEVE" 9640:
Raphael Nabet - For authoring M. E. S. S. (The Myarc "Geneve" 9640 emulator).
  • The TI-Chips is announcing that they have unanimously decided to modify the Jim Peterson Achievement Awards to have just two categories starting with the class of 2005. The categories will be TI-99/4A and Myarc "Geneve" 9640. .
  • A new TI99ers On-Line User Group is announced by Tom Wills. The current one at Yahoo will be done away with and the new one under its own domain (http://www.ti99ers.org) has been established. It includes a chat room, an auction site, a classified Ads page, a List Server, a photos section, the original Bill Gaskill TI99 TimeLine and much more.
